This one is simple. Slice of high grade Bakewell on the bank at 8am followed by more spooky trout on a low river.
The comedy kicked in for the last fish. Stalked a rising fish for over an hour. It was tucked into the far bank under trees. I’m thinking monster brown trout, sneaky bugger hiding in the almost impossible cast zone. Finally got it to take a size 18 emerge pattern. Chub.
